Can I use it while I'm working?
Yes — that is most of the point. At 2 lbs it stays on your shoulders without you holding it, and the strap keeps it in place while you type. There is no cord to work around.
How hot does it get, and how long does it run?
Two settings, 104 °F and 113 °F, measured at the two lower heads — warm against the skin rather than hot. A session runs fifteen minutes and then shuts itself off. Leave the heat off entirely if you only want the kneading.
Is there anyone who shouldn't use it?
This is a wellness device, not a medical one. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or another implanted device, or you are recovering from an injury or surgery around the neck, back or shoulders, please speak to your doctor before using it. Stop if anything hurts.
